English Electric built 83004 (E3027) at Crewe 17/12/77. Just 7 days later the loco was severely damaged when working in multiple with 82001 and they collided with 47163 at the north end of Kensall Green Tunnel, the remains catching fire, damage was so severe that the remains were withdrawn on 15/1/78 and were cut into pieces at Willesden final disposal of the bits was at Crewe later in 1978. ©www.railphotoprints.co.uk - Graham Smith
