37002 Immingham 110585 GE002

A visit to Immingham TMD on 11 May 1985 found 37002, 37202, 37252 and 31443 stabled in the area on the former GCR coaling plant, while the LNER-installed coaling tower is seen behind. 37002 was in the first batch of Class 37s built by English Electric in December 1960 and numbered D6702. It was withdrawn in December 1999 as 37351 and wearing the 'Dutch' infrastructure services livery. It was finally cut up at TJ Thomson's Stockton scrapyard on 15 November 2007. ©Gordon Edgar/Rail Photoprints
