On 14th July 1963 the Railway Enthusiasts' Club operated their 'Cornish Rail Tour' which took 10 hours to traverse the Cornish Main Line from Penzance to Plymouth via many obscure Branch Lines, Hayle Wharves, Roskear, Drinnick Mill, St Dennis, Roche, Carbis Wharf and Moorswater being some of the ones visited. The train a single Car Gloucester RC & W unit (later Class 122) was photographed at Newham Quay, Truro, which was reached by a branch from Penwithers Junction. ©Dave Cobbe Collection/Rail Photoprints
