Just Reconstructed using the boiler from a Duke of Cornwall Class and the frames of a Bulldog 4-4-0, the 9000 Class (or Dukedog) Class were re-manufactured at Swindon during the period 1936 - 1939, 3224 is seen in remanufacted 'New' condition outside the works on 26/2/39. ©George C.
