Woodhead route EM1's 76008 76011 switch to wrong line running at the east end of Dinting Viaduct as they head east. The eastbound tracks through Dinting Station had been severely damaged by a derailment in March 1981, and with the impending closure of the line the decision not to repair was made and the eastbound track was slewed to the westbound side giving bi-direcional running on the tracks through the station, 5/81. ©www.railphotoprints.co.uk - the late Colin Whitfield.
