Introduced as D3884 19/5/60, the loco became 08717 in 9/74, as an 08 it operated in Scotland for the majority of its life, it was in store at IS in early 1984 and had made the trip to RFS's Kilnhurst facility by 1992 where it was converted to a Class 09 becoming 09204, on 11/7/18 the loco was at work at Arriva traincare's Crewe facility. ©John Day/Rail Photoprints
