Foster Yeoman's GM SW1001 Switcher (US parlance) No 44 was imported in 1983 and has been in regular use at Yeoman's Merehead facility since that time. Being out of the BR loading gauge the loco is not allowed out of the confines of the Merehead quarrying operation. On 7/1/16 the filthy loco sits outside the load washing facility at Merehead, outgoing loads are sprayed to reduce the amount of dust that emanates from the loaded wagons while in transit, 7/1/16. ©John Chalcraft/Railphotoprints
