The daily BR 'wagonload' pick up goods service to the Allied Steel and Wire Ltd private sidings at Meadowhall, diagrammed for Tinsley-allocated class 08 08870, has split the points and derailed. It awaits a BR re-railing team on 24th April 1985. The building behind was originally part of the Yorkshire Engine Company's works, a small independent locomotive manufacturer in Sheffield. The Company was formed in 1865 and continued to produce locomotives and carry out general engineering work until 1965.
