One of St Margarets K3 2-6-0's 61879 sits in the lines of stored locomotives at the famous Bathgate dump, 7/6/59. One of St Margarets Fowler 2F 0-6-0T's 47162 sits in front of the K3, both locos had been at the dump since March 1959 and the K3 was officially withdrawn on 16/6/59, the Fowler tank was obviously regarded as a more useful machine, final withdrawal for it came in December 1959 although it seems unlikely that 47162 ever escaped from the dump, 7/6/59. ©David Anderson/Rail Photoprints
