Western 1041 'Western Prince' stands at Swindon Works on 12/11/78, the loco had been withdrawn from Laira on 23/2/77, it was then moved to Swindon where it remained in open storage until purchased for preservation, it is thought that it is now operational on the East Lancs Railway. ©Hugh Betteridge/Rail Photoprints
