A pair of (nearly) new D11 4-4-0's 6379 and 6388 climb Cowlairs Bank in 1927, the locos were later renumbered as 62672 and 62681. Both locos were supposedly named on introduction in 1924 but there is no sign of name application in this 1927 photo. ©www.railphotoprints.co.uk - collection
