D6101 Haymarket 280460 DA076
North British Type 2's D6100 D6101 leave Haymarket depot and head for Waverley, having just been transferred from Peterborough New England, (left 34E 20/4/60), 23/4/60. Both locos were then allocated to Eastfield depot where they enjoyed a chequered carreer which included being re-engined becoming Class 29, despite the cost of rebuilding both locos were withdrawn in 1971 and cut up at St Rollox during 10/72. ©David Anderson/Rail Photoprints
