The remains of the original open motor coach (S14544S) of 2-HAP (later class 414) unit No.5624 at Micheldever storage depot on 31 August 1969. The BR standard design 2-HAP units were first introduced on the South Eastern Division in 1957-1958 and were later to be found on all three S.R. divisions, and being designed for main line services, they were equipped with express gear ratios.
