11501, one of 3 0-4-0DM Shunters fitted with a 153HP Gardner 6L3 engine and built by Hunslet Engine Co. All 3 members of the Class were allocated to Ipswich where they found employment on the sidings of Ipswich Docks. 11501 is seen shunting oil tank wagons at the docks on 27/9/55, all class members were stored en masse at Ipswich 12/66, they were then moved to Goole Docks but all were withdrawn on 30/12/67. ©Neville Simms/Ranwell Collection/Rail Photoprints
