A fleeting glimpse of Belgian Class 31 2-8-0 3289 and you could be left wondering what one of the GW's 'Night Owl' br/2-8-0's was doing in Belgium. The loco was one of 200 built for Belgian Railways by Armstrong Whitworth hence the 'clean' lines of the Britisah Style product which was seen at Namur on 19/8/39. ©George C. Lander/Rail Photoprints
