When are the public going to be told the truth?. The press releases and media told us that the recent work at Bath Spa station was to re-align the track and lengthen the platforms in preparation for the new trains, unfortunately that Press release now appears to have been incorrect with the 'up' Platform having been shortened by approx 60 metres with a barrier having been erected to prevent the public from venturing onto the old platform. The repeater signal visible in the picture is situated at the end of the old 'up' platform approx 60 metres away. ©John Chalcraft/Rail Photoprints
