Class 20 20080 sits with the last Scottish-allocated class 40 40162 at Haymarket TMD on 23 October 1983. 40162 had been withdrawn from service, almost one year previously, in December 1982, but was not disposed of until May 1986, not being moved due to having a missing wheelset! 20080 continued in service until its withdrawl came in July 1990, being disposed of in September 1993 at MC Metals in Glasgow. ©Gordon Edgar/Rail Photoprints
