Class 17 D8533 Passing Robroyston Yard with an eastbound freight, reporting number 6A13, 9/63. D8533 was introduced to traffic 8/63 at Polmadie, just 5 years later it was moved to the Preston Division (D10) and it was withdrawn on 12/10/68 having had a working life of 5 years and 2 months, after a further 18 months stored at Carlisle Kingmoor it was hauled to Polmadie on 28/4/70 where it remained until dragged to St. Rollox on 25/5/71, final scrapping occurred 1/72. ©www.railphotoprints.co.uk - J & J Collection
