British built Stanier 8F 2-8-0 45170 shunts Coal hoppers at Zile on the Sivas - Samsun line, 10/10/75. The loco was built by North British, No 24755 becoming WD554 and first steamed 3/42. It was shipped from the UK during 1943 in the company of NB 24749. (TCDD 45169). 45170 has now been returned to Britain and it is undergoing restoration to working order on the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway. ©Ian Turnbull/Rail Photoprints
