A rare glimpse in Cuba of a Brush-built locomotive supplied to the Cuban National Railways (Ferrocarriles Nacionales de Cuba) in 1965. By the time of my visit on 17th April 1998 No.52504 (originally supplied as 2504) was the only surviving member of a class of 10 supplied from the UK, but is thought to have been cut-up before 2000. It was dumped in an overgrown siding alongside the Hershey Railway near Cardenas and still bore its Clayton worksplates.
