Dukedog 4-4-0 9021 runs into Aberystwyth with a train from Carmarthen, 30/6/55. Note that the depot is still Standard gauge, 1968 saw the V of R rerouted into the unused (former Carmarthen) platforms, during the associated works the former SG shed was converted to the V of R's gauge for the servicing of the narrow gauge steam operation. ©George C.
