The first of the 2nd generation of the A1 Pacifics (Class A1/1)was rebuilt from Class A1 1470 'Great Northern', in its new incarnation and now numbered 113 the loco stands at Doncaster with a southbound service, 27/3/48. The loco will be renumbered 60113 under nationalisation. All of the other original build A1's were rebuilt and reclassified as A3's. ©Ranwell Collection/Rail Photoprints
