Bristol Bath Road 12/72 with (l to r) Classes 47, 08, 52, 08, Pullman, 31, DMU and (in shed)52, Peak, and 3and another Peak outside the shed, some 10 years later the 3 road fuelling shed was refitted for DMU servicing and loco refuelling was moved into the main running shed. Today there is no sign of Bath Road except a patch of waste ground which Bristol City Council has designs upon for an entertainment complex, but, knowing how quickly BCC works it seems unlikely that the plans will reach fruition much before 2050 (if then). ©Norman Preedy/Rail Photoprints
