Beyer Peacock built 20 0-6-0St's for the LSWR under instruction from W. G. Beattie, and, it is believed that this was one of them, identified by the photographer as 0339 (nothing visible) it was photographed at Ashford Shed 31/5/39 , confirmation of identity is made more confusing because the \class was supposedly rendered extinct in 1933.
