Stanier 8F 8014 approaches Watford Junction with a rake of northbound coal empties, 10/6/39. I have been unable to find any detail on this locomotive and as far as I can see it doesn't appear in any loco lists renumbered to 48014, it is therefore assumed that it was one of the 8F's taken by the War Departmrnt, does anybody have detail of its WWII history?
