During the early months following nationalisation in 1948 some locos werer renumbered with a Prefix denoting the operating region. Hence the numbering of Fairburn 2-6-4T M2192 seen at Corkerhil in late 1948, the loco was later renumbered to 42192. 10/48. ©www.railphotoprints.co.uk - collection
