The leader of the class Coronation Pacific No 46220 'CORONATION' seen departing Edinburgh Princess Street station with the 11.37 all stations train for Glasgow Central station. Note that this loco was originally streamlined but at this time had been fitted with a new (non-sloping) smokebox. Importantly this loco is part of an ex streamlined batch, up to and including No 46229 which had front ends with a gap between the running plate and the buffer beam. David Anderson
