On 14th July 1963 the Railway Enthusiasts' Club operated their 'Cornish Rail Tour' which took 10 hours to traverse the Cornish Main Line from Penzance to Plymouth via many obscure Branch Lines, Hayle Wharves, Roskear, Drinnick Mill, St Dennis, Roche, Carbis Wharf and Moorswater being some of the ones visited.
