The last Stanier Black 5 to be built (5/51), 44687 takes a spin on the Patricroft turntable, 9/60. The fitting of double chimney, Caprotti Valve Gear and a high running plate gave this and sister loco 44686 a distinctive appearance. ©Jim Carter/Railphotoprints.co.uk
