The last L & Y Dreadnought 4-6-0 50455 in service, seen at York 1951 having worked in with an SLS special from Blackpool (via Manchester). This was believed to have been the locos last passenger working, it was withdrawn from service 6/10/51. ©Rail Photoprints Collection
