Immaculately turned-out Stanier "Jubilee " class 4-6-0 45721 'Impregnable' of Burton (16F) depot heading the Locomotive Club of Great Britain "The North Countryman"' railtour (1X46) the 08:10 from London St. Pancras on Saturday 6 June 1964. The "Jubilee" took the railtour as far as Whitehall Junction, Leeds, where 'V2' 2-6-2 60923 took over for the leg to Carlisle via the S & C. 'A3' 4-6-2 60051 'Blink Bonny' took the returning railtour from Leeds City to London King's Cross, arriving there at 22:12. ©Gordon Edgar Collection/Rail Photoprints
