45111 was built as D65 at BR Crewe works and introduced to service in April 1962 and eventually named at Derby in July 1965. Renumbered as 45111 in 1973, and finally withdrawn from service in 1987. 45111 was scrapped at MC Metals, Glasgow in April 1992.

37074 was released 17th September 1962 from English Electric Vulcan Foundry, Robert Stephenson & Hawthorns, Works Number EE/RSH3066/8320 1962, bearing the running number D6774 and first allocated to Thornaby depot. Renumbered as 37074 in February 1974 and officially withdrawn in September 2005, it was cut up at C.F. Booth, Rotherham on 2nd November 2005.
