A new crew clamber aboard Hudson Bay RR's GP40-2L 9469 at Churchill, in preparation for shunting the stock and returning south, unfortunately nobody checked the locos fuel tank and some 8 hours later the loco ran out of fuel, resulting in further delay to the late running 'Hudson Bay' which was following having left Churchill at 01.00 some 4.5 hours late a situation which became rapidly worse resulting in a 28 hour late arrival at Winnipeg, 8/11/08. ©www.railphotoprints.co.uk - John Chalcraft
