Via Rail's F40PH-2's 6445 and 6451 stand at Wabowden, as Hudson Bay SD50 5001 approaches with the last bulk grain train to Churchill to be run before the port is closed by Ice for the winter. Due to earlier delays the FP40's were running low on fuel and the decision was made to get a road tanker to them for refuelling. Passengers were given the option of staying with the train or taking specially laid on coaches to Winnipeg or Saskatoon, only the 2 English railfans stayed with the train, 10/11/08. ©www.railphotoprints.co.uk - John Chalcraft
