Class 52 'Western' Hydraulic 1018 'Western Buccanneer' undergoes its last overhaul at Swindon Works, 3/72. This loco was one of 4 (1017 - 1020) which were never fitted with Dual brakes/Aws and the lack these items led to early withdrawal, 1018 being the first of the Class to be broken up in early 1974. ©Norman Preedy/Rail Photoprints
