Class 52 'Western' Hydraulic 1020 'Western Hero' undergoes its last overhaul at Swindon Works, 3/72. This loco was one of 4 (1017 - 1020) which were never fitted with Dual brakes/Aws and the lack of these items led to early withdrawal, with 1020 being broken up in April 1974. ©Norman Preedy/Rail Photoprints
