Swindon built 'Warship' Class 42 818 'Glory' parked on one of the turntable roads at Swindon Works. The loco was withdrawn from Laira in 1972, moving to Swindon 26/4/73. After arrival at Swindon it was used as a spares donor but it was externally well looked after, following closure of the works the loco was dismantled by 6/11/85. 20/9/78. ©www.railphotoprints.co.uk - Graham Smith
